Micro-uzi to be exact. I'm all for teaching children how to shoot when young, but who the hell thought an 8 year old could handle that kind of recoil? It's unfortunately not a true case of Darwinism. Had the father and other brother been taken out, then I'd say so. Morons. I know the anti-gun people will go all crazy with this. Really, the gun didn't kill him, the supervising adults were at fault.
